About
Maddy Chavez, LAc, LMT, MAcOM
Maddy grew up in Ashland, Oregon, where acupuncture and herbal medicine were woven into the fabric of our healthcare system. Her journey with acupuncture began in middle school when she picked up a copy of the Tao Te Ching and knew she had found her passion. Her love affair with herbs also started young. Her dad has the greenest thumb of anyone she has ever met, and gardening with her mom defined her summers growing up.
With over 14 years in the healing arts, she is dedicated to helping our community to thrive, one patient at a time. She is excited to share with you the tools she’s gained through her ongoing education and clinical experience to help you succeed in life and in health. Her goal is to empower you to take charge of your well-being and to learn to listen to your body’s wisdom.
The work we do together doesn’t end when you leave the clinic—healing is an ongoing process, and she encourages you to be an active participant in your health journey. Every time you come into our office, she invites you to advocate for yourself, ask questions, and engage in the process of reaching your health goals. Let’s work together to create meaningful conversations, build community, and help you rediscover the vibrant health you deserve.
